The road above our house, known as the Chakkar, is a scenic loop shaped like an infinity symbol. A walk along this path is a delightful way to soak in the beauty of Landour. Along the way, you'll encounter several must-visit spots:
Kellogg’s Church: This iconic grey church is located at the heart of the Chakkar and is a landmark worth admiring.
Rokeby Manor: A short detour downhill (toward the Doon side), Rokeby offers a cozy ambiance and delightful dining options at Emily’s Restaurant. Stop here for a cup of tea or a gourmet meal.
Char Dukhan: Despite its name, this area now has more than just four shops. It’s a lively spot for pakoras, Maggi noodles, and omelets. Don’t miss Vipin’s Tip Top Tea Shop for its amazing French fries and Anil’s stall for a refreshing ginger lemon honey tea.
